Newground Together is a registered charity which aims to empower people to create sustainable communities that are connected, resilient, healthy and prosperous to achieve its ambition; better lives and opportunities for communities.

Newground Together’s community work prioritises three key themes:

To support people into employment or to enhance their position in work
To create opportunities for people to thrive in their communities
To engage people in the natural environment

We operate across 2 key areas in the North of England: East Lancashire and Calderdale, supporting the communities where we work with services delivered by Newground Together’s in-house team and providing community grants for residents groups and grass roots community organisations for local projects.

Newground Together is a member of the Together Housing Association Group which manages 36,000 homes and employees almost 1400 staff over a large geographical area in the North of England

The Birchall Trust

The charity originally called South Cumbria Rape and Abuse Service (SCRAS), was established by Christine Birchall in 1991 as a community response to the lack of support for rape and sexual abuse victims in the local area. It originally operated as an entirely volunteer based organisation supported by community fundraising. The organisation has successfully developed into an established service provider, whilst still retaining its original ethos and local identity.

All of our staff are qualified to the relevant level and counsellors are registered with BACP/BAPT – if required clients can request to view training certificates or accreditation awards to verify competency.

We are a registered charity (number: 1109637), and a company limited by guarantee (number: 5424196)

Inter Madrassah Organisation

Inspire Motivate Overcome (IMO) charity initially began its work in 2006 by providing recreational and diversionary activities for young people in the Audley & Queens Park ward in an urban town called Blackburn, Lancashire. Since then it has grown its offering to work with and alongside the community; filling gaps in service where the people tell them there is need. IMO’s ethos is to support all of those who have an influence on the future generations whether that be family, peers, statutory organisations, businesses or the wider community.
